Don’t underestimate the impact your glass Splashback can have on your kitchen.

Scottish Highland Cow

It has been another busy week at The Glass Studio, fitting amazing glass Splashbacks for customers who are looking to add something a little bit special to their home. You should never underestimate the impact one of our Splashbacks can have. Above you can see one of our latest fittings a Scottish Highland Cow which has been isolated on a dark background to give the ultimate impact. the glass itself has been shaped to fit around our customers up stands and worked really well with the rest of the kitchen decor.

Everybody's kitchen is different in one way or another, the cut outs on this particular piece were different on both sides, so an initial template was really important to get the perfect fit, and as we always say, if the template fits and the glass matches, you’ll have no problems slotting your Splashback into place.

Toughened antique mirrors are truly beautiful and take a long time to produce by hand, so the last thing we would want to do is break one when fitting it. Although very robust and heat resistant, toughened safety glass can be very temperamental around the edges, and only once it is safely in position can you relax again.
